1. What is a disposable or anonymous email?

A disposable email is a temporary, completely anonymous email address that allows you to receive emails without revealing your real identity. It requires no registration and protects your personal inbox from spam.

2. How is this different from regular email services?

  • No Registration: You don't need to sign up or provide a phone number.
  • Anonymity: Your personal data and IP address are not stored permanently.
  • Auto-Deletion: Emails and data are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
  • Spam Protection: Your real mailbox remains safe from hacking and exploits.

3. Why do I see a "Locked" screen or Video Ad? (Offerwall)

TempMailX is a free-to-use service. To cover our server costs and maintenance fees, we sometimes use an "Offerwall". If you see this screen, simply watch a short video or complete a quick step to unlock the service. This allows us to keep the site free for everyone.

4. How long will my email address be active?

Your email address is active as long as you keep the tab open. However, due to high traffic and spam prevention, we clean our servers every 24 hours. Old emails are deleted automatically. Additionally, some domains may be retired and replaced with new ones if they get blacklisted by third-party services.

5. I haven't received my email yet. What should I do?

Usually, emails arrive instantly. However, delays can happen due to:

  • High Server Load: We process tons of emails daily, which may cause a slight delay.
  • Sender Delay: Sometimes the website sending the email is slow.
  • Blacklisted Domain: If a domain is overused, it might be blocked by the sender. Please try creating a new email with a different domain (click "Random" again).

6. Can I send emails from TempMailX?

No. Sending or replying to emails is completely disabled to prevent fraud, spam, and abuse. TempMailX is a "Receive-Only" service.

7. Is there a mobile app or browser extension?

Our official mobile apps for Android and iOS are currently in development and will be available soon. In the meantime, you can use our Chrome Extension (if available) or simply use our mobile-friendly website on your phone.

8. Is there a limit to how many emails I can create?

No. There is no limit. You can generate as many disposable email addresses as you need.
